xperience in association with Sports England and Yorkshire Icons have come together to raise awareness and gather support for Yorkshire athletes of the Olympic Team GB and Paralympics in Beijing. Developers at xperience are creating dedicated profile pages for Yorkshire athletes detailing their biographies, the sport event they will be competing in and dates and times of their heats at the Olympic Games.

Xperience partnered with Northern Rail and Yorkshire Icons, working in conjunction with ITV Yorkshire, Marketing Leeds, Yorkshire Bank and the Yorkshire Society delivered a curriculum relative Key Stage 2 teaching plan to Yorkshire Infant Schools. Approved by EBP’s across the region, the My Community Icons teaching plan is set to engage and inspire young students, coupled with its associated celebrity endorsed competition to award the ‘Yorkshire Icon Community Icon 2009’ the initiative is eagerly awaited by the region.

xperience worked in partnership with NHS Scotland to develop a SharePoint platform to centralise documentation for efficient data sharing within the Health Service. This platform known as Athena will revolutionise NHS Scotland improving colleague collaborations as well as improving patient care and follow up procedures. xperience delivered the canned demo to NHS officials in April of this year.

Budge and Company signed xperience to create a branded site to demonstrate the credentials and reputation of their financial advisory firm. Further to visually representing the firms diligence, xperience also ensured the site met all current legislation including conformation to W3C standard to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) as well as ensuring the site was fully FSA compliant (Financial Services Authority).

Our vast e-learning xperience discovered a gap in the corporate market for an internal digital training tool. Using our knowledge of successful training methods and gaming theory, xenon is an easily digestible user-friendly tool for creating and delivering scenario based training within the corporate world.

Our solution was to deliver an all round package of design and build, improving the look and feel of the site, adding communicative features including a call back service, whilst retaining a user-friendly interface and to encapsulate our modifications, ensuring the website was widely accessible using search engine optimisation.

Yorkshire’s most successful individuals were honoured in a prestigious awards ceremony held at the Yorkshire Bank’s headquarters on Thursday 7 February. More than 100 esteemed guests from the worlds of politics, business, acting and sport attended a gala dinner which saw Yorkshire’s iconic men and women inducted into a hall of fame.
xperience joined forces with Yorkshire Bank, Yorkshire Television, the Yorkshire Post, Marketing Leeds and the Yorkshire Society to create the ‘Yorkshire Icons’ website which celebrates the people who have made the county what it is today. The icons are inspirational men and women who are the best in their chosen field, whether that is acting, sports, politics, music, arts, business, education or humanitarian.
The first inductees in the Hall of Fame included slavery abolitionist William Wilberforce, Morrison’s supermarket founder Sir Ken Morrison, actress Dame Judi Dench, legendary cricketer Fred Trueman, artist Ashley Jackson and the courageous Jane Tomlinson who defied terminal cancer to raise money for charity.
Mrs Tomlinson’s widower Mike, Fred Trueman’s widow Veronica and William Wilberforce’s relatives all attended the event alongside Sir Ken Morrison, Ashley Jackson and MP Rosie Winter, the new minister for Yorkshire.
Dame Judi Dench, who is filming the new James Bond movie and Sir Michael Parkinson both sent video messages saying how honoured they were to become an inaugural icon into the hall of fame.
xperience won the contract to create the Yorkshire Icon’s website in December and were delighted to be present at the awards ceremony when the site went live. Launching the site, managing director Andy Bevan said: “It’s fantastic to see these Yorkshire Icons honoured in this way. We want to turn this great occasion into an annual event and are looking for further nominations from members of the public so that we can celebrate more inspirational figures from all walks of life.”

Nostell Priory had a visit from Prince Richard the Duke of Gloucester, who was accompanied by The Lord Lieutenant, Dr Ingrid Roscoe and Lord Oswald of Nostell Priory. The Duke visited some of the companies within the Nostell Estate including xperience. Both Keith Madeley and Andy Bevan were introduced to his highness who took a great interest in what xperience were offering our clients.
Kwik Conveyancing is the online division of Beaumonts Legal, one of Wakefield’s largest law firms. xperience have worked with Beaumonts on several occasions and were asked to create a user-friendly site that made the conveyancing process as easy and as quick as possible. The site uses a simple, attractive and functional design that enables visitors to quickly obtain a quote and provide the minimum details to complete the entire conveyancing process online.
With all the recent publicity surrounding HIP’s (Home Information Packs) xperience are delighted to announce the launch of the epcs4u.com website. The site has been created for home owners who are looking for a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) in their area and for Domestic Energy Assessors who can register their details. xperience have created a fresh, funky and user-friendly design and brand that clearly portrays the nature of the business and provides the information necessary to make the process as simple as possible.

xperience have been commissioned by 1st Software to develop an exciting, interactive and stimulating e-learning course to support the successful rollout of their Adviser Evolution application within their financial services customer base.
The learning has been designed in such a way that the content can be made customisable to each financial organisation’s deployment of Adviser Evolution. The first client to go live with this course will be Wesleyan Group at the end of April 2007.
The course will assess the learner’s knowledge of the application, ensuring they pass all assessments. Assessments are scenario based – providing the learner with a real test of how they will use the system in their day-to-day roles.

xperience are delighted to have been awarded a prestigious Research and Development grant from Yorkshire Forward on behalf of The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Receiving this highly competitive grant is a major step forward for xperience and will allow them to grow their business and product set expediently and with a greater rapidity than would have otherwise been achievable.
The project will enable xperience’s e-learning vision come to life by delivery a prototype, code named xenon, which will be designed to allow cross sector organisations to assess and measure Roles, Communications and Competencies of their employees in a simulated environment that is relevant to the individual concerned.

The Duke of York's Community Initiative is an exciting venture which supports community projects throughout Yorkshire and Humberside, by recognition of excellence. The Awards not only recognise the considerable achievement of these projects to date, but also facilitate through networking and the sharing of good practice the development of similar schemes in the future.
This new site marks the beginning of a new era for the Initiative and will be a major factor in the initiative moving forward. It will become the central point for all communications, news and events, and everything relevant to current and future award holders. xperience have worked closely with the initiative to develop a much needed on line presence, developing branding and standards for the initiative. This site has already been endorsed by Buckingham Palace.

The inaugural first Wakefield District Business Awards Gala Dinner and Presentation Ceremony took place on Thursday 23rd November at the Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield. xperience were delighted to receive their Highly Commended award following successful nominations and rigorous scrutiny from the awards team. Deloitte, one of the largest global financial consulting companies received delivery of the NGC Phone System e-learning solution.
Using basic games theory xperience turned around a highly interactive e-learning solution tutorial inside 7 weeks. Fully interactive using animations, simulating the phone and providing the learner with instructions on ‘how to use’ the system, this provided an effective time critical solution.
In addition the learner material was built to the SCORM standard and fully integrated within their Learning Management System.
